Audition Requirements

Musical Auditions - Please have artists prepare one up-tempo song and
one ballad, however at the discretion of the Artistic Director, only one
song may be necessary.  A short 2 minute comedic monologue will also be
asked for, and all artists should be prepared for a cold reading from
the script of the Artistic Director's choice.

When choosing audition material for musicals at any of the venues for
Drayton Entertainment, please choose from traditional, legitimate
musical theatre repertoire.  There will be an accompanist provided for
all musical auditions.

Play Auditions - A 2 minute light or comedic monologue is required for
all play auditions, and auditionees for the farces should be prepared to
deliver their monologue in an English accent, as well as cold readings
from the script of the Artistic Director's choice.

Deadline for Submissions is January 28, 2004.
