The Sudbury Theatre Centre invites applications for the position of Technical Director/Production Manger effective IMMEDIATELY (or as soon as possible).  This is a full time 52 week contract.  STC is a professional theatre company in Sudbury, Ontario that offers a six-play subscription season plus three Theatre for Young Audience productions and various rentals throughout the year.  

The Technical Director/Production Manager works in close partnership with the Artistic Director and General Manager.  The successful candidate will have 2 years experience in a similar theatre and have extensive knowledge of all aspects of production.  The candidate will need experience in scheduling the staff, costing the show, rigging, interpret and understand technical drawings, have knowledge of health and safety standards, basic understanding of stage lighting and sound system, as well as the building's electric and heating mechanical systems.
