JOB-TOUR COORDINATOR-MONTREAL

Geordie Theatre Productions is looking for an energetic, organized, and personable team player to fill the position of Tour Coordinator for a theatre for young audiences company.
Tour Coordinator is an administrative position, which involves the following responsibilities:
· Marketing and selling touring plays to schools, libraries, and theatres
· Structuring, planning, and scheduling touring plays
· Coordinating group sales for Main stage School Matinée Series
· Overseeing box office and front of house during Main stage School Matinée Series
· Networking and representing the company at various conferences
· Writing small scale grant applications
· Communicating with the Marketing Coordinator and Tour Manager and reporting directly to the General Manager and Artistic Director
The candidate must hold a Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in the field of Arts, Education, or Commerce with sharp marketing, customer service, and multi-tasking skills. Experience in arts administration, marketing for non-profit organizations, public relations, or teaching preferred. Must be functionally bilingual and passionate about the performing arts.
