CASTING NOTICE
for FACTORY THEATRE SEASON OPENER
BRAD FRASER'S "COLD MEAT PARTY"
directed by Braham Murray
(Artistic Director, Royal Exchange, Manchester, England)

Rehearsals Begin August 30th, Opens September 30th, Runs until October
31st. on the Factory Theatre Mainstage

We have an absolutely superb cast in place for this great play except
for ONE ROLE STILL TO BE CAST:  

"BRYNN" - male, mid-30s.

Brynn is English, mid-30s, bi-sexual, handsome, charming, articulate,
upper-middle class with a very intense sexual energy. In the play he is
Marcus's lover, but also involved with Nancy. It's a wonderful role in a
wonderful play with a wonderful company.  Ability to do an immaculate
English accent is a must.

Brad Fraser's Cold Meat Party premiered to rave reviews at the Royal
Exchange in Manchester where it was co-commissioned and where four other
Brad Fraser plays have been successfully produced.  Cold Meat Party is,
in fact, set in Manchester. The unexpected death of a writer in his
mid-40s (Keith) re-unites former lovers and friends.  Four of the
characters are Canadian, one is American, two are British.  The
emotional romantic links among the characters are myriad and complex.
This is an amazing play, and will be a terrific, high-profile
production.  

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the
audition.
