Auditions for "The Garden Behind The Moon", a new musical based on the
book by Howard Pyle,Parabola Books New York, to be presented in
Brantford at the Sanderson Centre.

174 Stanley St Brantford July 2nd Dancers 10am-12pm Dancers may be asked
to sing- please prepare 16 bars of an uptemo/ballad Singer/Actors will
be by appointment from 1-5 pm, please e-mail/call for a time, Please
prepare 16bars, uptempo&ballad and/or one monologue of your choice 3 min
or less. Please look at character breakdowns and state which role you
would like to audition for. AUDITIONS We are looking for the following
roles
1.   Male / 11-14 yrs. / Any Ethnicity. 
 David -young boy to play age 12. Must sing and dance 
 
2.   Male / 25-30 yrs. / Any Ethnicity. 
 Moon Angel-Male singer actor who moves well. Age range 30. Kind, Gentle
fun loves children 
 
3.   Male / 31-40 yrs. / Any Ethnicity. 
 Cobler- Male singer character voice age 30-35 Tenor, must have good
rhythm and move well. Plays the fiddle. 
 
4.   Male / 25-30 yrs. / Any Ethnicity. 
 David- adult singer dancer age 25-30 
 
5.   Female / 25-30 yrs. / Any Ethnicity.  
 Teacher- Female singer/acress sop age 30 kind, loves children 
 
6.   Female / 51-60 yrs. / Any Ethnicity. 
 Hina- Female actress/singer age range-wide, very spiritual. 
 
7.   Either gender / 25-30 yrs. / Any Ethnicity. 
 An ensemble- of 5 female 5 male dancers who sing. Must be trained in
Jazz/Classical/or modern age range 20-30 
 
8.   Female / 31-40 yrs. / Any Ethnicity. 
 Queen-Statuesque,very dignified,private, full of sorrow. 
 
9.   Either gender / 11-14 yrs. / Any Ethnicity.  
 Children's ensemble- 8 children 8-12 with dance or gymnastics who sing 
 
10.   Male / 31-40 yrs. / Any Ethnicity.  
 MIM- Man in the moon, doubles as the cobbler. 
 
11.   Either gender / Any yrs. / Any Ethnicity.  
 Adam & Eve- Male/Female ballet dancers. Young Phyllis- a sweet girl age
10-12, princess qualities Princess Aurelia-Phyliss grown up. A very
beautiful lady of royal qualities. 
 
12.   Male / 25-30 yrs. / Any Ethnicity.
 Iron Man- Evil,darkpresence, an uneducated,vicious leader of the iron
gang.
  
There will be two to three weeks rehearsal for this project to be
rehearsed in Brantford. We are looking for equity and non equity
performers. Equity members will be engaged under the applicable form of
Equity contract.
