1. MASK AND CLOWN INTENSIVE WITH JOHN TURNER - VANCOUVER

Mask and Clown Intensive 
"Baby Clown" 
with John Turner (Smoot) of Mump & Smoot

This 16 day workshop (over 100 hours) is based on the Pochinko
technique.
Richard Pochinko was a Canadian visionary who developed a style of 
Creative exploration drawing on three traditions: American circus clown,

European clowning and North American Aboriginal mask work. This workshop
is
appropriate for all who are interested from all walks of life. 

Individual creativity is explored with  Colour work and body work and
the making and 
wearing of six masks. These masks mark out the playground for the clown
(creative self) culminating 
in the "birth" of their individual clown. This workshop is an  intense
blast and furnishes the student 
with a malleable structure for continued creative exploration, with
limitless applications. 

DATES 
Sunday, February 6 - Monday, February 21. 
There will be one day off during this period - TBA
9:30 am - 5:30 pm 
* For the first 6 days, students should attend all class times. There 
is some limited flexibility in the remaining 10 days. The final day is
an optional clown jam.

COST - all materials included
$950.00 + gst = $1016.50
