AUDITION - VANCOUVER

Leslie D. Bland, Artistic Director of Victoria's Kaleidoscope Theatre,
will be holding General Auditions in Vancouver on October 3 and 4 for
actors he has not previously seen audition.  

Please prepare either two contrasting monologues or, if you choose, a
monologue and a song.  If a song is chosen, this can be sung without
accompaniment or to a tape/ CD.  No accompanist will be provided.  Total
time not to exceed 5 minutes.  

Auditions will take place at Carousel Theatre on Granville Island.

Kaleidoscope's 2004/ 05 season includes:

1)  A tour of Kaleidoscope's adaptation of The Selfish Giant by Oscar
Wilde for ages 5 to 10.  Rehearsals begin March 7 and the show runs from
March 19 into April (length of engagement depends on school bookings).

2)  The premiere of Robert Clinton's new play Adventures In the Rouge
Trade which will play in-house in Victoria for High School/ Public
audiences.  Rehearsals begin March 28 and the production runs April 22 -
May 1.

 
Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the
audition.
