1. CLOWN THROUGH MASK - TORONTO

Based on the pioneering work of Richard Pochinko, the workshop
synthesises Native American and European clowning traditions to guide
you in the discovery of the clown. This course is taught by Sue
Morrison, Artistic Director of the Theatre  
Resource Centre.  ACTRA, TAAS and CAEA member.

DATES: January 9 - February 11, 2006
Soiree: 8 p.m., February 11

2. CREATING A CHARACTER with Gilles Plouffe - MONTREAL
------------------------------------------------------------------------
This workshop helps actors develop or improve their capacity to create
and actualize an imaginary world and then live the characters life
within it.
Actors will work on an organic character exploration and preparation
exercise, a scene improvisation and a final scene presentation. The goal
is to produce believable realistic results. The work is based on John
Strasberg's "Organic Creative Process." The working artist is encouraged
and guided to develop his/her own unique artistic creative process.
Ultimately, every actor possesses his/her own unique way of creating a
character. 
December 15 - 18. (4 day intensive.) 
Thursday/Friday evenings ; Saturday/Sunday afternoons.
