Priya Bannerjee is dead and has only three days to visit her past, pay
homage to life, and talk to her family in their dreams before going to
the "waiting room" of the spirit world. Will she be able to come to
terms with her life in that time? With a spirit-guide in the guise of
her Hindi-film idol Dilip Kumar, she just might!
Filled with humour and humanity, as the material world and spirit world
mingle on stage, Tanika Gupta's play asserts that life is meaningful for
its human relationships, and self-knowledge leads to Paradise.

Simple Truth Theatre's new play "Canada Jacks" opens Thursday, December
8th at Theatre Passe Muraille Backspace.

One American's search for the Canadian Grail ends in a bar.

"Canada Jacks" is a one-man play written and directed by Xavier
MacDonald, designed by Ed Rosing and features Richard Beaune in the
title role of Jack.  The play is based on the book "The Province of
Calgary" by American author Lee Larson.
