2005 Dream in High Park - Much Ado About Nothing by William Shakespeare

Auditions will be held the week of February 21; Rehearsals begin May 30;
opens June 30; closes September 5

1	Benedick - 30s,  - dynamic leading man, excellent command of
text, sense of wit
2	Claudio - 20s - younger lead - soldier,
3	Don Pedro - 30s/early 40s - gentle warrior, intellectual
4	Don John - late 20s/early 30s - deceptive, "smiling villain"
5	Leonato  - over 45 - father figure, great emotional range
6	Dogberry - over 30 - seriously comic
7	Verges - over 30 - sidekick to Dogberry, also comic.  Physical
comedy skills an asset
8	Conrade/Friar Francis 30-45 - evil henchman/kindly friar
9	Antonio/Sexton - over 50 - grandfatherly type with fire
10	Borachio/Balthazar - 20 - 35 evil henchman/singer.  Guitar or
piano playing an asset
11	Beatrice - 30s - dynamic leading woman, excellent command of
text, comedy
12	Hero - 20s - ingenue
13	Margaret - 20-35 - vivacious "party girl"
14	Ursula - 20-30  - quieter companion to Hero and Margaret
