AUDITION - VANCOUVER

The Playhouse Theatre Company will be holding auditions for our upcoming
production of A Little Night Music, Music and Lyrics by Stephen
Sondheim, Book by Hugh Wheeler.  This production will be directed by
Glynis Leyshon and the musical director will be Lloyd Nicholson.

Relevant dates are as follows:

Auditions:	April 21, 22, 23 and 24, 2005
The Playhouse Production Centre, 160 West 1st Avenue

Vancouver:		Rehearsals:			October 31, 2005
Open:				December 1, 2005
Close:				December 25, 2005
Potential Holdover: 	to December 31, 2005

There are 15 Roles to be Cast.    	 CASTING BREAKDOWN ATTACHED

Performers will be asked to prepare 2 songs from a Broadway musical or
Operetta.  A piano accompanist will be provided.  Please provide sheet
music.  

The music is challenging to learn, challenging to sing.  
We welcome submissions from actors who are trained singers.
There is one male non singing role.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
