Pak-N-Go Equity Co-op is proud to present CLOUD 9 by Caryl Churchill at
the Havana Theatre May 11 - 28. 

The race is on: Ellen is after Betty, Betty's pursuing Harry, Harry's
having a tumble with Joshua, Mrs. Saunders can't seem to shake Clive,
and poor little Edward doesn't know if he's coming or going. This
Victorian cast of characters is riding the forbidden carousel of sexual
partners in pursuit of true love. But would today's newfangled sexual
freedom make the ride any easier? A grown-up Edward and his sister are
willing to take a spin with Lin, while Betty trades in Clive for Gerry,
and Martin's forced to stand on the sidelines and keep the kids out of
harm's way.

Award-winning British playwright Caryl Churchill plays fast and loose
with race, gender, sexual preference and the search for heaven on earth.
Her controversial play, Cloud 9, explores our cultural taboos while
twisting theatrical conventions into torturously funny knots.

Ian Alexander Martin directs a stellar cast of seven who take on 16
dizzying roles: Matthew Bissett, Anna Hagan, Anthony F. Ingram, John
Prowse, Bert Steinmanis, Valerie Sing Turner, and T Weir. Costume design
by Ariel Buchan, lighting by Matthew Bissett, set and sound by Ian
Alexander Martin, with Lizanne Gosselin stage managing. This is an
Equity-approved co-op.
