AUDITION CALL

defintion:blood invites submissions for its upcoming production of Your
Palace in the Sky by Dalbir Singh, being presented at the Summerworks
Festival in August 2005.  The project is an interdisciplinary piece
which explores the events surrounding the 1985 crash of Air India Flight
#182.  Auditions will be held the last week of May.  Submissions are
being accepted for the following roles:

Seema-Female, teenager, South Asian, victim of the crash, competitive
Indian Dancer

Jaspreet-Female, 40's, South Asian, mother of one of the victims, Indian
accent required

Jay-Male, 20's, South Asian, Gay, television reporter, British accent
preferred

Actors of all ethnicities are encouraged to submit, providing they can
reasonably pass as South Asian.  Movement ability is a definite plus.
Actors will be provided with sides prior to the audition.

Equity members participating in this production will be signed to a
