AUDITION - TORONTO

Neptune Theatre will be holding auditions for the roles of MARIA, LEISL
& MOTHER SUPERIOR for their Holiday production of The Sound of Music on
June 13, 2005 at Equity Showcase Theatre in TORONTO.

The Sound of Music will be directed by Marcia Kash who will be on hand
during the auditions. 

Artists interested are asked to prepare the following:

MARIA - 2 contrasting songs (sheet music required), scenes on pages 17
-18, 50-51

Leisl - 	2 contrasting songs (sheet music required), scene from
pages 31- 32

Mother Superior - "Climb Every Mountain" song and scene from page 65
(from Maria's entrance).  Second song may be required.

Artists should be prepared for callbacks.

The Sound of Music DATES
-	Rehearsal dates - Friday, October 28, 2005
-	First Public Performance - Tuesday, November 22, 2005
-	Closing date -  January 8, 2006

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the
audition.
