CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS - ST. CATHARINES

Carousel Players requires the following actor to play the role of The Dragon for a two-day workshop between Dec. 14 and 18, 2005 in St. Catharines, Ont. for the new work, "The Reluctant Dragon" by Laurel Smith. The workshop will be directed by Laurel Smith and dramaturge will be Kim Selody, Artistic Director of Carousel Players.

The character description is as follows:

Male
Mid to late 30's
Middle Eastern, Greek, East Indian, Pakistani, South Asian or Asian origin World weary but cheerful, hides his cynicism for the world well Poetic soul Sense of naiveté but may be just a cover
