Job - Artistic Producer - Rumble Productions Society

Rumble Productions collaborates with artists from Vancouver and beyond
to produce and present for the theatre and other media. The company has
established itself as a leader in the performing arts scene in
Vancouver, producing and presenting a body of work acknowledged for its
artistic daring and eclectic, multidisciplinary ethos.

Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, the Artistic Producer is
responsible for the overall vision and direction of the organization.
The Artistic Producer oversees communications and artistic programming,
planning and animation, while ensuring the continued vitality,
excellence, identity and financial viability of the organization. 

The Artistic Producer is responsible for supervising a staff of 2-3
permanent, and up to 25 project-specific contracted personnel, as well
as the overall financial management of the organization. Rumble
Productions has an annual operating budget of $450,000 and receives
operating support from all three levels of government. 

The successful candidate will have a dynamic vision for the organization
and its unique role within the Vancouver arts community. She/he shall
participate as an artist in productions if and when appropriate, has a
strong understanding of the Canadian theatre scene.
