AUDITION - VANCOUVER

Southern Time Productions will be holding auditions in VANCOUVER for the
following roles in the new rock opera Southern Time by Tim Bartsch.

Character Description:

A MALE/CHUCK: An African-American male in his forties, who is gay, and
who is HIV positive.

A MALE/DAD: Forty-five year old father of the main character Dreamer,
Dad is intimidating and mean.

A MALE/MARCIO: Forty-five year old Spanish cello professor.

A MALE/ALEXANDER: Twenty year old \'life-of-the-party\' heavy-set
English music student.

A MALE/PEDRO: Twenty year old Brazilian cello student, outgoing and
friendly.

Production Dates: 
Rehearsals begin Oct 15, 2005 and the show runs December 4th through
10th, 2005. The venue is the WISE Hall, in Vancouver.

Audition Requirements:
Chuck is a main character, is required for much of the video footage
that accompanies this multi-media work, and needs to be a good singer.
The other parts are mostly singing as part of the chorus/actors in most
of the songs.

Audition Date:
September 17th and 24th, 2005.

Southern Time Productions intends to apply to Equity to produce
"Southern Time" under the Small Scale Theatre Addendum (SSTA) to the
Independent Theatre Agreement (ITA).
