The Rocky Horror Show

Directed by:  Ted Dykstra
A co-production with The Manitoba Theatre Centre

Auditions will be held in June, 2006 in both Toronto and Winnipeg

Rehearsals begin in Winnipeg  December 4, 2006.  
Performances start in Winnipeg January 4, 2007.  
Closes Winnipeg January 27, 2007  
There will be an eight week hiatus.
Performances start in Toronto March 26th, 2007.  
Closes Toronto April 21st, 2007 with a possible extension.

Please note that characters are of diverse cultures and ethnicities.

1	Riff Raff - Male, 25-45 - An eccentric butler of Dr. Frank 'N'
Furter. Thin and creepy. Rock tenor. 
2	Rocky - Male, early 20's - A perfect specimen of a man.  An
invention by Dr. Frank 'N' Furter. Rock bari/tenor.
3	Brad - Male, 20's - A youthful, handsome and wholesome young
man. Rock tenor
4	Eddie / Dr. Scott - Male, 30-45 -   A pizza delivery guy who
rocks. / An older gentleman who was a Nazi. STRONG character actor, any
size.  Rock tenor
5	Magenta - Female, 30+ - A very strange servant of Dr. Frank 'N'
Furter. An alien. BIG AND SEXY.  Great singer needed, husky rock voice
6	Janet - Female, 20's - A youthful, pretty and wholesome young
woman.  Great singer.
7	Columbia - Female, 20's - One of Dr. Frank 'N' Furter's misfit
servants. Waifish, strong character actor, needs to tap and wail. 
8	Phantoms - 2 female, 2 male -We are searching for singer/actors
of all ethnicities, and a wide range of body types, who are strong rock
singers.  Dancing experience a must

are accepting resumes from both Equity and Non-Equity performers.
Clearly note on resume Equity and ACTRA status.  Submit a hard copy
resume/photo only - no phone calls or emails - thanks.  Only those
selected for an audition will be contacted. 
 
Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the
audition.
