THEATRE AUDITION NOTICE - One (1) Male performer

Native Earth Performing Arts is auditioning for its tour of Tales of an
Urban Indian a one man show by Darrell Dennis.

Tales of an Urban Indian is the story of Simon Johnson, a young native
man who makes his way from his BC reserve to the downtown eastside of
Vancouver to drug and alcohol addiction and back to health, Tales has
moved audiences from Toronto to Vancouver.  After two years, Darrell is
ready to relinquish the role to another young actor.

The show will be touring to fifteen communities in Ontario in April and
May 2006. 
We require one (1) Male performer.

The character:
Simon Johnson: late 20s - early 40s
Please note that this role is race-specific. ALL actors of Diverse
Backgrounds are highly encouraged to apply.

Auditions will be held on Monday, February 27th, 2006.  Auditions are by
appointment only, and only the performers selected to audition will be
contacted by the company.

to creating, developing and producing professional artistic expression
of the Aboriginal experience in Canada.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
