AUDITIONS - BRAMPTON

A.C.T Productions of the Brampton Theatre Office is excited to announce
auditions for the 1st annual Brampton Flowercity Theatre Festival. The
festival will replace 6 years of Shakespeare in the Square & 2 years of
the NewWorks Festival.
'Art', 'The Last Five Years' & a new Canadian play will be running in
rep Thursdays to Sundays from July 6-Aug 27 at the Heritage Theatre.
'Much Ado About Nothing' runs June 23 to July 10, 'Romeo & Juliet' runs
July 21 to Aug 7, 'Twelfth Night' runs Aug 11 to 28 Fridays to Mondays
outdoors at Brampton's City Hall.
Equity Artists will be engaged under separate contracts for each
production running in repertory.
In 2006, the Brampton Flowercity Theatre Festival will consist of:
-'Much Ado About Nothing' directed by Festival Artistic Director, Scott
Lale -'Romeo & Juliet' directed by Kyra Harper -'Twelfth Night'
directed by Rod Ceballos -'Art' by Yasmina Reza directed by Festival
Artistic Director, Scott Lale -'The Last Five Years' by Jason Robert
Brown directed by Danny Harvey -A new Canadian play directed by Robert
Woodcock
Audition Requirements:
-Please prepare 1 Shakespeare monologue in verse & 1 Contemporary
monologue,
each no longer than 2 minutes in length. You may be asked to perform a
2nd Shakespeare piece. -If auditioning for 'The Last Five Years': -1
music theatre song, 16-24 bars (song should tell a story) -No monologue
required
-Submit through Casting Workbook or send headshot & resume by mail

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
