JOB - ASSISTANT PROFESSOR - SASKATOON

Applications are invited for a tenure-track position at the rank of
Assistant Professor in the Department of Drama at the University of
Saskatchewan. 
The successful candidate will teach courses in stage movement and
acting, and may be expected to direct in the department's mainstage
season. 
Qualifications include an MFA in Acting and a demonstrated strength in
teaching. 
Expertise in the area of movement for the stage (which could include
clowning, commedia, dance, Feldenkrais, Laban, Alexander Technique,
and/or contact improvisation) is a requirement for the position. 
The appointment is effective July 1, 2006. Curriculum vitae outlining
disciplinary interests and professional qualifications, a brief
statement of teaching philosophy, and the contact information (including
