EQUIFLASH - CTA UP FOR RATIFICATION BY MEMBERSHIP 
------------------------------------------------------ 

Ratification packages were mailed out today to Equity members in good
standing who worked under the CTA or ITA during the term of the last
Agreement. A ratification ballot and a copy of the proposed changes to
the 2006 - 2009 CTA, including detailed explanatory notes, are on the
way to the eligible voting membership.
Equity members who are currently away from home or who have recently
moved and not yet updated their mailing address with the Association
should contact Equity's national office for further information and
assistance. 
Any eligible voter who does not receive a ballot by July 21st, is also
encouraged to contact Equity's national office. 
In order to be sure your ballot is received in time to be counted, mail
your completed ballot not later than Thursday, August 3rd, 2006. Only
ballots received in Equity's national office prior to 5:00 p.m. EST on
August 11th, 2006 will be counted. 
Results will be announced as soon as possible after the ballot count on
August 15th.
