Braveheart Productions is re-casting the role of April White for the
Vancouver Fringe Festival run of their recent hit production of "Savage
In
Limbo" by John Patrick Shanley.
The production is a 'Bring Your Own Venue' in association with The
Havana on
Commercial Drive and will be re-mounted there.

April White is described by Shanley as "A beat-up, tired, vulnerable
woman
with beautiful damaged eyes.  She can go from serenity to hysteria
without
showing a seam".
There is both a physical and an emotional fragility in this woman but
she is
not yet defeated.  She is still struggling.
The play takes place in The Bronx, New York in 1986.  Bronx dialect.

We are looking for a female actor late 20's to early 30's with both
emotional depth and comic timing.  Equity or non-Equity. Dialect not
required for the audition.

Auditions Tuesday July 25th.
Re-rehearsal from mid-August until Opening
with Director Trish Allen and the remaining members of the original cast

Performances Sept 8-16 (9 shows)
