CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS - FREDERICTON, HALIFAX, TORONTO

Theatre New Brunswick will be conducting auditions for its upcoming 06/07 season production of "Always Patsy Cline".  

We are looking for actors/actresses to fill the following roles:
"Patsy": 29-40. A powerhouse singer who can hit all the lows and all the highs, and embody the gritty and famous presence.
"Louise": A country and western version of Lucille Ball; leads us through the narrative part of this show. MUST connect w/ the audience and be as strong comedically as Patsy is musically.

Theatre New Brunswick will be conducting auditions for its upcoming 06/07 season production of "Cinderella".  

We are looking for actors/actresses to fill the following roles:
"Cinderella": 18-25. Skilled soprano w/strong presence. Attractive & gutsy w/ dreams.
"Prince": 18-25. Strong tenor, strong presence, & play the earnest ingénue well.
"Queen/Godmother": 30's to 50's. Strong character female w/ big presence.
"Stepmother": 30's to 40's. Strong character actor. Will play other minor roles.
"Portia": 20's to 30's, preferably over 5'7"
"Joy": 20's to 30's, preferably under 5'4";.
"King": 30's to 50's.
*All roles require an actor/actress who can sing & dance well, and have good comic timing.

Theatre New Brunswick will be conducting auditions for its upcoming 2006/2007 season production of "The Graduate". 

We are looking for actors/actresses to fill the following roles:
"Benjamin": 21-26. Young, confused youth just out of college. Disaffected, but passionate. Role requires partial nudity.
"Mr. Braddock": 40-55. Proud but disconnected father. Should be able to affect varied voices, as will be doubling some minor roles.
"Mr. Robinson": 40-55. Boisterous, salesman type. Should be able to easily adapt characters, as needed to double some minor roles.
"Elaine": 18-25. Naive, and easily influenced.
"Mrs. Braddock": 40-55. Prototypical 60's mom. Required to play other minor roles, one of which is a stripper.
"Mrs. Robinson": 38-48. Gorgeous, wealthy drunken ex debutant w/ a penchant for vodka. Requires that actress is completely nude for a short period of time.

Auditions will be held in Halifax, NS (Neptune Theatre, March 29, 2006), as well as in Fredericton, NB, and Toronto, ON -- dates/times/locations TBA.
