The online version of the April issue of the Equity News is now
available on EQUITYONLINE at http://www.caea.com 

April's issue of the Equity News includes an article on the recent
referendum results and  Katey Wright and Thomas Hauff contribute to "Why
run?" a digest of elected representative experiences on running for
election as Equity Councillors or members of a Councillor(s) Policy
Advisory Group. The newsletter also includes an article on the 2006 'On
the Move' conference and a re-print of Susan Wallace's Spring 2006
Canadian Theatre Review commentary entitled  "Seeing Red: Theatre and
Labour in the Twenty-First Century Canada" on the ongoing Blue Man Group
boycott. A list of the Nominating Committees from all regions and the
election forms are also included.
