Job Sharing Opportunity - Equity Showcase Theatre
Position:  Professional Development Program Registrar
Contract Details: Self-employed contract, job sharing
Rate of Pay:  $15 per hour plus an additional benefit to be discussed
Start Date:    May 25, 2006

Equity Showcase Theatre is seeking two individuals to job share the
position of Registrar to the Professional Development Program.  This is
an ideal job setting for theatre artists pursuing professional careers
in theatre, film & television.  We offer a collegial setting in which
people are respected for the skills they bring to the job and are
allowed to get on with it.  A well-developed sense of humour, openness,
flexibility, honesty and integrity of purpose are attributes we value
highly in our workplace.  We encourage applications from persons with
culturally diverse backgrounds.

Potential candidates are asked to demonstrate their level of ability or
knowledge in the following areas and to indicate what other skills or
attributes they would bring to the position:

Communications including written communications
Client service skills
Ability to work as part of a team - also able to make decisions
independently
Time management skills
Project Management, including a basic understanding of accounting,
costing and forecasting, and scheduling 
Computer literacy/experience in Word, Excel, Access, Photoshop, etc
Database and Website management
Publishing
Marketing and Promotion
Office Management
