2006 EQUITY ELECTIONS - NOMINATED CANDIDATES ANNOUNCED

The 2006 Equity election process for Council and regional Councillor(s)
Policy Advisory Groups (CPAGs) is well under way. 

Nominating Committees submitted their candidate lists to Executive
Director Susan Wallace and the list of nominated candidates is now
posted on EQUITYONLINE at www.caea.com. If you are not listed but have
submitted a Nomination by Committee form, please contact Equity's
Communications Department at communications at caea.com as soon as
possible.

A list of nominated candidates will also be published in the June issue
of the Equity News. 

Potential candidates may still self-nominate. It's not too late to
register to run for office in Equity's 2006 elections. Any member needs
only a Nomination by Petition form, which must be signed by five members
in good standing. Nomination forms were recently mailed to every Equity
member along with your May dues invoice or statement and current
membership card.

Nomination by Petition forms are available at EQUITYONLINE. Follow the
