AUDITIONS - VANCOUVER/RICHMOND
------------------------------
Chemainus, Gateway and Kaleidoscope Theatre General Auditions: Chemainus
Theatre (Chemainus), Kaleidoscope Theatre (Victoria) and Gateway Theatre
(Richmond), will be holding their General Auditions for 2006-07 Seasons,
Gateway's New Play Series (Gateway) and SceneFirst on June 13, 14th and
15th at the Gateway Theatre. In attendance will be Jeremy Tow (Chemainus
Theatre) Leslie Bland (Kaleidoscope Theatre), Simon Johnston (Artistic
Producer Gateway Theatre), and Barbara Tomasic (SceneFirst/ New Play
Series).  

Non-Musical Requirements:
Candidates will be asked to present one or more of the following:
-	One contemporary and one classical monologue, no more than 2
minutes.   

Musical Requirements
 Candidates will be asked to present one or more of the following: 
-	An up tempo from the legit musical theatre repertoire (no pop
styles)
-	A ballad from the legit musical theatre repertoire
-	One contemporary OR classical monologue; no more than two
minutes.
An accompanist will be provided, please bring sheet music in the
published key. Transposing will not be accepted.

****Kaleidoscope is also looking for actors with gymnastic/acrobatic and
circus skills

Chemainus Theatre:  Information will be available at the audition. 
Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the
audition.
