AUDITIONS - FREDERICTON

THEATRE NEW BRUNSWICK HOLDS AUDITIONS FOR 2006-2007 SEASON
Theatre New Brunswick will be holding auditions for its Main Stage
production of The Graduate and Young Company productions of Smokescreen
and For Art's Sake. Rehearsals for The Graduate will be February
21-March 14, 2007 with a run March 15-18, 2007. Rehearsals for the Young
Company will be January 2-21, 2007 with a run January 22-April 5, 2007.
Artists with New Brunswick connections are encouraged to apply. As
Theatre New Brunswick is undergoing major restructuring this year, we
will be producing one Main Stage production while continuing to run our
Young Company and Theatre School. Please note that Theatre New Brunswick
will be operating as a D Category theatre for The Graduate. We will be
holding auditioning for the following roles:
The Graduate
Benjamin: 21-26. Young, confused youth just out of college. Disaffected
but passionate. Role requires partial nudity.
Mr. Braddock: 40-55. Proud but disconnected father. Should be versatile,
as will be doubling some minor roles.
Mr. Robinson: 40-55. Boisterous, salesman type. Should be versatile, as
will be doubling some minor roles.
Elaine: 18-25. Naive and easily influenced.
Mrs. Braddock: 40-55. Prototypical 60's mom. May be required to play
other minor roles, one of which is a stripper.
Mrs. Robinson: 38-48. Gorgeous, wealthy drunken ex debutant. Requires
that actress is completely nude for a short period of time.

Fredericton, NB: Theatre New Brunswick Rehearsal Studio (55 Whiting
Road), call for appointment
Actors are asked to present one monologue and be prepared to read from
the script. All interested in auditioning please specify role of
interest and forward a headshot and resume to:

Actors who have previously submitted for the 2006-2007 season are
respectfully requested to resubmit. Equity members will be seen first.
Equity members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity
form of contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the

for an audition will be contacted.
