Touchstone Theatre and neworld theatre will be holding

GENERAL AUDITIONS

On Sunday April 15th 2007 from 12pm - 8pm
and Monday April 16th 2007 from 10am - 5pm

At the Carousel Rehearsal Space
1411 Cartwright Street on Granville Island

Please prepare 2 contrasting contemporary monologues, 2 minutes in
duration

Equity actors can book by calling the Canadian Actors Equity Association

Touchstone will be casting for the following shows in their 2007/08
Season:

Tideline by Wajdi Mouawad, translated by Shelley Tepperman (November
2007)
Co-produced with neworld theatre	2 Women / 6 Men
Directed by Camyar Chai and Katrina Dunn

How it Works by Daniel MacIvor (March 2008)
Directed by Katrina Dunn		3 Women / 1 Man

The Dissemblers by Jason Bryden (May 2008)
A Flying Start Production in Association with the Playwright Theatre
Centre
Directed by Amiel Gladstone	3 Women / 2 Men

neworld will be casting for Tideline and for projects in development.


Reading Copies of Tideline, How it Works and The Dissemblers are
available at Touchstone Theatre - please call ahead to access copies
(604) 709-9973.  

HOWEVER, IT IS NOT NECESSARY TO READ THE PLAYS TO PARTICIPATE IN THE
GENERALS.  Touchstone and neworld will be doing callbacks for individual
projects.  

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the
audition.
