 CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS - OTTAWA - 2007 DIRECTORS' MASTERCLASS

The 2007 International Directors' Masterclass requires six (6) Equity
actors to work with directors participating in classes held June 8, 9
13, 14, 15 & 16 as part of the Magnetic North Festival. Performers will
be engaged under the Reading and Workshop provisions of the Independent
Theatre Agreement. The engagement is contemplated to be six (6)
intermittent 7/8 hour rehearsal days. Some preliminary preparation prior
to the classes will be required, including the memorization of a
monologue for which each artist will be remunerated with payment of an
additional four (4) hour call.

Sponsored by Canadian Actors' Equity Association, in partnership with
the Magnetic North Festival and the University of Ottawa, the
International Directors Masterclass will be held in Ottawa June 6 - 16.

The Masterclass is geared to professional or mid-career directors, or
established professional theatre artists wanting to make the transition
to directing.

Performers will be expected to attend all classes and engage in a
variety of activities.

Equity members in good standing and based in Ottawa are invited to
submit their resume and headshot to by mail to:
