TD Dream in High Park 25th Anniversary Celebration
A Midsummer Night's Dream

Auditions will be held in late February/early March
Rehearsals begin June 4, 2007 opens June 28, 2007 closes September 3,
2007

PLEASE NOTE CLEARLY ON YOUR RESUME IF YOU CAN SING, DANCE, PLAY ANY
INSTRUMENT OR PERFORM ANY CIRCUS/BUSKING TYPE TRICKS (FIRE BREATHING,
STILT WALKING, ACROBATICS) 
ALSO CLEARLY NOTE EQUITY/ACTRA STATUS 

Egeus - (Male 30-60) Hermia's overprotective father.

Hermia - (Female 20-40) - Strong willed, determined and passionate
woman.  In love.

Lysander - (Male 20-40) - A determined and resourceful man.  In love.  

Demetrius - (Male 20-40) - A determined man with a sense of entitlement.
In love.

Helena - (Female 20-40) - A very passionate and jealous woman.  In love.


Robin Goodfellow - (Male or Female) A puck that is full of tricks.
Ability to DJ is an asset.

Fairies - (Male or Female) Attendants to the Fairy Queen. Ability to
sing well and dance an asset.

Nick Bottom - (Male or Female) The self-proclaimed leader of a group of
amateur performers. Ability to sing and/or rap is an asset.

Mechanicals - {Peter Quince, Francis Flute, Tom Snout, Snug and Robin
Starveling} (Male of Female)  A group of local trades people who are
putting on a play.  Ability to sing and/or rap is an asset.

Those selected for an audition will be asked to prepare a Shakespeare
monologue, preferably from A Midsummer Night's Dream as well as a
musical rendition of a Shakespeare text.

members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
