Hosted by Winston Morgan, S.M.Arts is a one of a kind conference for
both experienced and new stage managers as well as stage management
apprentices.
S.M.Arts offers many courses taught by professional instructors. The
2007 conference includes three new selections:
- Training Apprentices explores how to develop a strong and fulfilling
working relationship with your stage management staff.
- CTA Session Two will explain the ins and outs of figuring out the
Employment Standards Act across the country and how to figure out your
overtime.
- Career Transition delves into how to plan for potential future
changes.
As in past years, S.M.Arts will be offering a conference pass which
allows a participant to attend all of the courses for a substantially
reduced rate. This year the 25 courses will be available for $500 (a
savings of $250).
An Apprenticeship Trust Fund Fundraiser party will be held on Monday,
March 12. Please email smarts at interlog.com for further information.
