2006 - 2009 STRATFORD ADDENDUM RATIFIED 
---------------------------------------------------------------------

The 2006 - 2009 Stratford Addendum to the Canadian Theatre Agreement
(CTA), recently negotiated between Equity and the Stratford Festival of
Canada was ratified by the Equity membership in a ballot count held
today.

Members voted overwhelmingly in support of the proposed changes. The
return rate on ballots mailed was 28%. A total of 97% of the members who
voted cast their vote in favour of the changes.

Thanks to Equity members Sandy Winsby and Ken Jones who volunteered
their time to count the ballots.

The new Addendum will come into effect on February 1, 2007 and will end
November 30th, 2009. All terms and conditions of the Stratford Addendum
to the CTA apply retroactively to December 1st, 2006.

Copies of the Addendum will be available at EQUITYONLINE and in hard
copy as soon as printing allows.
