AUDITION - VANCOUVER

Patrick Street Productions is seeking submissions for its upcoming
production of INTO THE WOODS.  
Book by James Lapine, Music and Lyrics by Stephen Sondheim.

Contract:  Independent Artists' Project ("Indie")
Fee:  $300/week guaranteed, up to additional $300/week deferred against
box office
Dates:  Rehearsals begin February 12, 2008, runs March 7 - 29 at the
Vancouver East Cultural Centre

Auditions July 10 and 12, 2007.  Callbacks will be in August. 
Director Peter Jorgensen and Musical Director Scott Knight will be in
attendance.

Please prepare 2 contrasting songs - up-tempo/ballad - and bring sheet
music in the appropriate key.
An accompanist will be provided.

NOTES:   
* The Baker's Wife, Cinderella, and the Narrator/Mysterious Man have
been CAST.
* We are grateful to all those who are interested, and we regret that
only those selected for an audition will be contacted.

Witch female late 30s-50s.  
Little Red Riding Hood female to play early to mid-teens
Rapunzel female to play late teens to early 20s; legit soprano
Jack's Mother female 30s to 50s
Cinderella's Mother/Granny female 30s to 60s; Cinderella's Mother is a
soprano singing role, Granny is a character role
Cinderella's Stepmother female 40s to 50s; soprano
Stepsister Lucinda female 20s
Stepsister Florinda female 20s
Jack male to play mid-teens
The Baker male mid-30s to 40s
Cinderella's Prince/Wolf male 30s
Rapunzel's Prince male 20s to 30s
Steward comedic male, any age
