CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS - VANCOUVER

Carousel Theatre is accepting submissions for auditions for their 2007
holiday production of Seussical: The Musical (TYA version). The
production will be at The Waterfront Theatre from November 28 to
December 29, 2007. Contract dates are November 5 until December 29,
2007.

Directed by Carole Higgins
Musical Directed by Steven Greenfield

Auditions will be taking place on May 22 at Carousel Theatre (1411
Cartwright Street, Vancouver). 

Those selected for an audition will be asked to prepare one musical
theatre song (in the style of the show, Seussical songs are acceptable).
Please be familiar with the show, as you may also be asked to read from
the script, and/or sight read from the score.  An accompanist will be
provided. Please bring sheet music.  Special skills (ie: gymnastics,
instruments, circus skills, etc) are an asset.

Please note: The following roles have been cast- Horton the Elephant,
Gertrude McFuzz, Mayzie La Bird, and JoJo/Boy.

Deadline for submissions: Friday, May 11, 2007. Please do not send

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the
audition.
