Grant MacEwan College is seeking a Dean, Centre for the Arts &
Communications.  Grant MacEwan College is the largest college in Alberta
with a record of access and quality in a learner-centered environment.
The college is a multi-campus environment offering baccalaureate
degrees, applied degrees, diploma, certificate, university transfer,
post-diploma, and continuing education programs.

The Centre for the Arts and Communications offers comprehensive
programming in performing, visual and communication arts for over one
thousand full-time students. In addition, The Centre is also responsible
for the MacEwan Conservatory of Music, continuing education and on-line
studies related to the arts curriculums.

Reporting to the Executive Vice President Academic, the Dean, Centre for
the Arts and Communications, ensures effective academic programming is
supported by credentialed and experienced faculty, accreditation
standards, facilities, sound financial management and a strong network
with the arts community.  The Dean fosters an environment of diverse
programming, teaching excellence, scholarly activity and artistic
creation.

The applicant must possess a graduate degree, an appreciation and
awareness of the arts on a national basis, demonstrated leadership in a
post secondary environment and involvement within the arts community.
