Stories From Our Black Books - The Play
 
We are seeking submissions from Toronto-based female singer/actors.  

Improvisation skills an asset.  

Rehearsals: January 21, 2008
Opens: February 14
Closes: mid-March

Candidates should be also available for a workshop December 3 - 14,
2007.

Auditions: November 22 and 23, 2007
Callbacks: November 23, 2007

Audition: two contrasting songs (one comedic), and up to two monologues
from the script (to be provided).  An accompanist will be at the
audition.  

Please submit headshots and resumes by email only by 12 noon (Eastern
Standard Time) on Monday November 19, 2007 to: blackbooks at shaw.ca (only
those selected for an audition will be contacted).

Audition location (in Toronto) will be provided upon booking the
audition time.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the
audition.
