PRODUCTION COORDINATOR

Reporting to and working closely with the Production Manager, the
Production Coordinator will assist with all aspects of the COC's
production management, including, but not limited to the preparation and
administration of contracts (designers, stage managers); the
coordination of supernumeraries (extras); the engagement of specialty
performers (actors, dancers, animal wranglers); and the tracking of
departmental expenditures.  

The Production Coordinator will administer the COC's production rentals
program; will create and maintain production and technical records and
will help to maintain the smooth and continuous flow of information
within the Production Department and between the Production Department
and other areas of the company.

The Production Coordinator will participate in union negotiations
(IATSE, Equity) and the COC's health and safety program.  

Applicants should have experience in and knowledge of theatre
production; superior organizational and communication skills (verbal and
written); computer proficiency (Word, Excel; knowledge of AutoCAD and/or
FileMaker an asset); ability to exercise good judgment, ability to
manage multiple tasks simultaneously; availability to work some evenings
and weekends; and an interest in opera.

This is a full-time position with benefits.
