CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS - TORONTO

CANADA STEEL:  A New Play by J. Karol Korczynski
The Canada House Artistic Cooperative is mounting its next production by
playwright J.Karol Korczynski and directed by Graham Cozzubbo. The
cooperative independently produced Canada House to critical acclaim in
2004 at Theatre Passe Muraille's Backspace.

Role:  Female call centre worker from Mumbai, India who is in her
twenties or early thirties.

Timeline: auditions in September. Production begins rehearsal January 7
2008, opens February 1 and runs until February 17 at the Tarragon Extra
Space.

The piece is cast with the following equity members; Charlotte Gowdy,
Daniel Kash, Brian Marler, and Alison Woolridge.  Creative team is
comprised of Director Graham Cozzubbo, Set and Costume Designer Brent
Krysa, Lighting Designer Michael Walton, and Sound Designer Rick Sacks.
The stage manager is Shauna Japp.
