CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS - TORONTO/THUNDER BAY

Requesting pictures and resumes for Magnus Theatre production of The
Berlin Blues, a comedy by Drew Hayden Taylor, directed by Vinetta
Strombergs.  Dates:  Jan. 3 - Feb. 9, 2008

The story is about two Germans arriving on an Ontario Reserve with an
economic development offer the locals can't refuse.  They plan to build
an Ojibway Theme Park. Of course everything spins out of control. 

Roles to be cast:  

Trailer - mid-30s Ojibway male
Donalda - mid-30s Ojibway female
Andrew - late 20s Ojibway male
Angie - late 20s First Nation female
Birgit - German female; high-powered executive spirit
Reinhart - German male; her less powerful assistant

Auditions will be held in October in Toronto.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
