Leading Ladies by Ken Ludwig, a full - length comedy, will be in Gateway
Theatre's Main Stage Season 2008-2009. Please see www.gatewaytheatre.com

EQUITY AUDITIONS: April 28 and 29 2008 at Gateway Theatre, 6500 Gilbert
Road, Richmond BC. 

Leading Ladies is a fast-paced comedy by Ken Ludwig

The following EQUITY roles are open to actors of any ethnicity:

LEO - 40s, British, a Shakespearean actor.  Excellent comic skills.

MEG - late 20s/early 30s, good-hearted, a small town girl with
intelligence and wit.

DUNCAN - Meg's fiancé.  40s/50s, very conservative, a bit of a
fuddy-duddy but a good person at heart; the local minister.

DOC - 50s, crabby, possibly not a very good doctor but has a good heart.

FLORENCE - elderly, crabby, perpetually at death's door, sharp as a
tack.

DEADLINE for applicants is April 21st, 2008. If you are selected for an
audition, you will be contacted during the week prior to April 28th.
Auditions will be in the form of readings of selected scenes. Scenes
will be provided at the time your appointment is made.

Production rehearsals are from September 15 - October 8, 2008 and the
run is from October 9 - 25, 2008 at the Gateway Theatre. Perusal scripts
are available for in house reading by appointment only. Please call

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the
audition.
