Bloomfield productions is casting for their production of "The Christian
Republican Fundraiser in Dayton Tennessee" a musical by Grant Tilly.
The show will rehearse in June and be mounted for the Toronto Fringe
festival (July 2nd to 13th) at the Cameron House. 
Four of the five roles we are casting are members of a country band.
They must be actors and singers who are also expert musicians.   
 
The roles we are casting are:
 
J.B.:  Age 25--late 30's.  Looks the country type but actually a vegan
and a bit of a pot head.  Plays the bass, fiddle, or banjo.
TESS:  Age 25-- late 30's.  A lesbian who was raised Mormon and hasn't
spoken to her family in ten years.  Plays the fiddle or bass.
KEITH:  Must be able to play 40-- 60.  Rough around the edges, jaded
liberal activist.  Plays the banjo or bass.  Piano is a bonus.
DEBORAH:  Must be able to play mid to late 20's.  Attractive farmer's
daughter/Christian type, but with an open mind and sense of justice.
Plays the drums.  guitar is a bonus.
JENNINGS:  Must be able to play 45--60.  The owner of the Country hall,
a cantankerous supporter of the republican party.  Does not play an
instrument or sing.
 
Auditions will be held May 5th in Toronto.  Please send an email
indicating the role you are interested in, the instrument(s) you play
(including any others than those mentioned) with a photo and resume
attached to bloomfieldproductions at yahoo.ca 
 
Submission deadline is May 3rd.  All actors will be cast in an equity
form of contract.  If you cannot attend the auditions, please send a
note indicating interest.

Equity members participating in this production will be signed to a
Fringe application and all net proceeds from the production will be
divided equally among the participants.
