CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS - RICHMOND

CASTING CALL Guys and Dolls; a Musical Fable of Broadway, based on a
story and characters by Damon Runyon. Music and lyrics by Frank Loesser
and book by Jo Swerling and Abe Burrows.
AUDITIONS: May 26, May 30 and June 2, 2008 at Gateway Theatre, 6500
Gilbert Road, Richmond BC.
Please send your resume and headshot to "Guys and Dolls" c/o Gateway
Theatre, 6500 Gilbert Road, Richmond, BC V7C 3V4. Only hard copy
application will be accepted. NO E-mails please.
DEADLINE for applicants is May 19, 2008. If you are selected for an
audition, you will be contacted sometime during the week prior to May
26, 2008. Applicants will be required to sing at the audition and a
musical accompanist will be provided.
Rehearsals are from November 3, 2008 (Non Equity) November 9, 2008
(Equity) and the run is from December 12-31, 2008 (Right to extend to
January 3) at the Gateway Theatre. Sarah Rodgers is the director,
Shelley Stewart Hunt is the choreographer and Allen Stiles is the
musical director of the production. Perusal scripts are available after
May 1 for in house reading by appointment only. Please call Robin Monday
to Friday 9am - 5pm at 604-247-4986 to book a time to read the script.
Please do not submit your resume and head shot for this audition unless
you are available for the entire contract. Thank you in advance for your
interest.
