Ontario

Additional information:
Stage West Calgary is holding auditions for their up-coming production
of "Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story" in Calgary, Alberta (Dec 15 & 16) and
in Mississauga, Ontario (Dec 17-19).

We are looking for dynamic actor/singer/musicians.  Ability to play
electric guitar, upright bass, drums, trumpet, trombone, saxophone a
definite advantage.

Production Dates are:
April 7, 2009 - 1st day of rehearsals
April 23, 2009 - 1st preview
May 1, 2009 - Official opening
June 28, 2009 - Closing performance

Audition requirements:
Should prepare a monologue and a 1950's pop song in the style of the
show. If auditioning for a specific role (ie. Buddy Holly, Richie
Valens, The Big Bopper) should prepare 1-2 songs by those artists.  Only
a drum kit will be provided at the auditions.  Artists should bring
their own instruments and be prepared to play.
