THE TAX MAN COMETH
Monday February 18th, 2008
6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Arts Club Revue Theatre, Granville Island
Open to all Equity members and apprentices in good standing

The first in a series of informational meetings entitled "More Bang for
Your Buck." This is your chance to ask the financial professionals the
questions you've been afraid to ask until now!

"Can I write off the parakeet I bought to help me run my lines?
Is it a good idea to cash in my RRSP to start my own theatre company?
G.S.T.? G.I.C.? R.R.S.P.? S.O.S.!"

Whether you tackle your own tax return, or think it might be time to
seek help planning for your financial future, this event is for you! We
have assembled a crack team of arts-friendly industry experts to answer
your questions and offer advice:
Ray Wallis	Financial Planner-Investors Group.
Rudy Bootsma	Tax Accountant, Compendia Business Information Services
Inc.
Gord Lewis	Vice-President of Proteus Performance, Equity's RRSP
Consultant
Doug Irons Equity's Chief Financial Officer (Controller)

The bar will be open (and each member will get a FREE drink!), we'll
have snacks, and Biz Books will be there with tax kits, expense log
books and other goodies for purchase with your industry discount!

What better way to satisfy your financial curiosity than by attending
this free forum. We hope to see you there for an evening that promises
to be informative and fun!
