CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS - VANCOUVER

Pi Theatre is now accepting submissions from actors for its upcoming
production of William Maranda's THE EIGHTH LAND, an environmental
tragedy set on Easter Island.

The production will be directed by John Wright, Artistic Director of
Blackbird Theatre. Rehearsal begins April 21, and the play previews May
15 and 16 and runs through May 31st.

We are looking for a broad range of ages and ethnicities, and actors who
are at ease with poetic text and stylized movement.

Auditions for Equity members will take place on February 11 to 13.
Those interested should email their head shot and resume to John Wright
at ad at blackbirdtheatre.ca by February 8, 2008. 

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the
audition.
