SET DESIGNER WANTED

The Theatre Studies Program at Acadia University is looking for a set
and costume designer for the two productions we are presenting this
year. These are: 

FALL 2008
Rhinoceros, Eugene Ionesco
Directed by Michael Devine
Nov 5-8; 12-15, 2008

SPRING 2009
Machinal, Sophie Treadwell
Directed by Anna Migliarisi
Feb. 25-28; March 4-8, 2009

This position is suitable for a recent graduate of a Theatre Studies
design program and offers an opportunity to gain experience in the
university setting. The successful candidate will be required to discuss
the requirements in detail with the Director of each play, supervise the
Theatre Studies students assigned to the crew and work closely with the
Technical Director.  

This is a contract position for approximately 6 weeks each term, the
start and end times to be negotiated. The fee is dependent on
experience, qualifications and the work required by the directors.
