THE PIRANDELLO THEATRE SOCIETY is running auditions Wed. Aug. 6 - 7,
from 2p.m. - 7 p.m.  for BRESSANI, a two act drama written by Frank
Spezzano. It is  A Historical Drama about the first Italian Jesuit in
North America. The play,  set in Albany N. Y. 1644, is an intense  drama
full of action requiring 7 male lead actors and 1 female actor. Among
the cast is a role for a 14 year old boy.  Five of the characters are
North-American natives. They are  both vigorous Huron and tough Iroquois
warriors aged between 25 - 60. The lead actor is to play Fr, Bressani, a
French missionary of Italian birth aged from 29-40.   Extras (20) are
also required for crowd scenes. This cast will work in an ensemble style
under the direction of MR. NICK MANCUSO.  Actors wishing to audition

We are also looking for a Stage Manager an A.S.M and Technical Director.
This engagement is for Equity and non Equity actors and technicians,
paying. 

This play will run for two weeks between October 21 till Nov. 2, 08.
Some touring is a possibility.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the
audition.
