CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS: SUMMERWORKS - ACTOR - TORONTO
------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------
Rabiayshna Productions is casting one actor in the 40-50 age range for a
SummerWorks comedy called Marla's Party. Marla (Valerie Buhagiar) is a
classic Jewish mother - except she's a practising Wiccan with a Latin
American lover. Receiving an alarming prophecy from the Goddess, she
invites
her twin daughters to her Muskoka cottage for a final dinner party with
her
shrink. One is embracing orthodox Judaism, the other has recently
attempted
suicide. It's a comedy. Marla's Party is directed by Kate Lushington.
The
play runs from August 8th-17th with rehearsals starting on the 10th of
July.
Please contact Kate Lushington at klush at sympatico.ca
This will be an Equity co-op production and all net proceeds will be
divided
equally among the participants.
